During her interview last week on 101.1, Brad asked Michelle about rumors that her husband writes her column for her. Brad said he wanted to give her the opportunity to clear this up. I was embarrassed for Brad for asking this question. It was the most awkward part of the interview. How do you respond to something like that? And who else gets asked this type of question by Brad?

Update: My initial reaction. The rest of the interview was OK. Brad challenged her on several points and they went back and forth. I think she was surprised at having to defend, but she handled it well.

During one of countless book-related radio interviews this week, a liberal radio host insultingly asked me whether I write my own column. His question was prompted by vicious anonymous bloggers who portray me as a greedy Asian whore/dupe/brainwashing victim who simply parrots what my white slavemasters program into my empty little head. These critics have stepped up attacks on my husband Jesse as a fanatical right-wing puppeteer orchestrating all I do and say.

As for the other stuff - deplorable, all of it. "Dirty Asian Whore" isn't part of my rhetorical toolbox. Barbs like that certainly never came from me.
Who cares if they work together? More power to them.
I didn't hear the interview so I can't comment on it directly. I don't think anyone is implying that she simply sits slumped in her chair like a ragdoll while Jesse toils away in front of the keyboard for her.
In "Enough" you served notice. Your fantastic and I read you daily. The more effective you are the worst the attacks come. It's unnecessary for me to say the evident about the Left. Same stuff, different a-hole. (pardon me. Its the best surname for them)
